Animal Control


The Animal Control Department is focused on responsive, effective, and courteous animal care and control assistance to residents.

  • Educating the public on animal care and behavior
  • Preventing the exposure of infectious diseases that are transferable to humans, such as rabies.
  • Enforcement of local/state laws pertaining to animal services
  • Helping protect residents and their property along with acting as a humane organization that protects animals.


The shelter is open for adoptions and viewing Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m.

Appointments can be made for adoptions from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m.
